1.Deposits
1.1 A non-refundable deposits is required upon booking to secure your date. The booking is not secured until the deposit is paid. The deposit amount required will be confirmed in your invoice. If you have not paid the deposit within 48 hours after receiving the invoice, your slot may be released.
1.2 All deposits are non-refundable.
1.3 Only rare occurrence that the artist cancels, your deposit will be fully refunded and a trusted replacement makeup artist will be provided if possible.
2.Payment
2.1 Private 1-1 makeover bookings and new clients must pay beforehand or on the day of the booking. All other types of bookings must be paid within 30 days of the invoice issue date.
2.2 The makeup artist reserves the right to claim interest (at 8% over the Bank of England base rate) and compensation for debt recovery costs under the Late Payment legislation if fees are not paid according to our agreed credit terms. The interest rate will be charged from the date payment was due until the date payment is made.
2.3 All payment details will be shown on your invoice enabling you to pay the fee.
3.Travel expenses
3.1 All clients are expected to cover travel expenses.
3.2 Travel by car is calculated at 45p per mile, or standard TFL rates if the artist is travelling on public transport. This will be calculated from the artist's start location and the return journey.

3.3 Locations longer than one and a half hours driving time will be charged an additional £10 per hour (driving time).
3.4 Transport that requires booking in advance of the booking (e.g. train, coach, airplane, taxi) must be paid by the client beforehand. Where the makeup artist pays for any of the above, those costs will be reimbursed by the client.
3.5 If the journey to the booking attracts the ULEZ charge, congestion charge, or parking charges, this must be paid by the client.
4.Cancellations
4.1 If the client has paid a deposit, this is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation.
4.2 Cancellations made within 48 hours of the booking will incur a full charge of the total amount due.
4.3 Notice of cancellation must be sent via email to ashleighjanemakeup@outlook.com, or notify your artist via phone call or instant message on 07415 258 902.
4.4 Cancellations must be received and acknowledged by the artist to successfully cancel the booking. You will receive a cancellation confirmation email.
4.5 In the event that the artist cancels, your deposit will be fully refunded and a trusted replacement makeup artist will be provided if possible.
5. No-Show
5.1 If you do not turn up to the booking your deposit will be kept and you will be required to pay the full amount of the booking.
6.Turning up late
6.1 Turning up late to a booking will either result in a partial makeover or being turned away.
6.2 Your deposit will be kept and you will still be asked to pay the full amount of the booking.
7. Overtime
7.1 If bookings run over the allotted agreed time clients will have to pay an additional fee of £50 per hour.
8. Image usage
8.1 Photos may be taken by the artist on the day of your booking. They may be used for the artist’s portfolio on their website and social media platforms.
8.2 Please advise the artist if you would rather photos and/or personal details (e.g. name or instagram handle) are not used.
9. Client Responsibility
9.1 It’s the client’s responsibility to inform the artist of any known allergies, skin conditions or skin sensitivities that they may have prior to makeup application. If any client/model has a contagious skin infection, the artist reserves the right to refuse treatment.
10. Liability
10.1 The artist cannot guarantee or be held accountable for any allergic reactions, or complications from the makeup or the application. All brushes and makeup products are kept sanitary and are sanitised between every makeup application. The artist has public liability insurance cover provided by Salon Gold. You may view the certificate of insurance on request.
10.2 The artist will not be held accountable for any traffic or force majeure that may stop the artist arriving to the location on time.
11. COVID-19
11.1 The artist maintains a safe and clean work environment at all times, consistent with health and safety requirements. If any client/model/crew member is experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or has recently tested positive for the virus, the artists reserves the right to withdraw their services.
